d-_-b: GIRLS' GENERATION TOUR 2011 IN SINGAPORE

this was placed at EVERY seat, everyone had it and it was shown to the grrls towards the end of COMPLETE ^^ i teared up ya know!

before i blog about how awesome SNSD concert was, i have to thank bob and hid for bringing me to the concert. honestly, tickets were sold out and i didn't had the energy to look for people who were selling their tickets off. it was to the point where, "yeah it's alright if i don't get to go, there will definitely be another opportunity to see their concert." so anyway, they got media passes, so it was for both press conference and concert. i had the chance to be in the same room as them but i just had to wake up late (press con was at 2:30pm, i woke up at 1:30!) and i missed it. LOL. i was expecting that i would not make it since i was still in the train at 2:30pm.

but it was alright, i mean i still get to go to the concert. looking back, the first thing i did when i woke up was panicking, screaming "i am late! i am late!" at the living room. my mum must have been wondering what the hell her daughter is up to. then i had to iron my dress and all. left the house without putting on the make-up. wahahaha~ kelakar jugak lah aku nie.

and hey! it's not everyday you can say "i missed SNSD press conference because i woke up late!" HAH!

what was calming me down was Kis-My-Ft2! their new song WE NEVER GIVE UP! was playing in my head all the way. while waiting for hid outside the stadium, knowing that i missed the press con, i listened to Kis-My-Ft2 to calm myself down. it worked! wahahaa!

so anyway, the concert was awesome and this is truly coming from a fan point of view, just so you know. i'm glad i didn't check out the song list and didn't watch their japan concert which was aired on WOWOW. they sang all their japanese songs, except for BORN TO BE A LADY, so it was really a nice surprise for me! though MR. TAXI and LET IT RAIN was sung in korean. but i totally sang along to LET IT RAIN in japanese! ^____^V i was mesmerized by their solo performances, though some of their solos were short, but it was alright. of all the solo performances, i enjoyed sooyoung's the most.

i sang along to almost all of the songs they performed, except for the ballads. i really really enjoyed the concert and as a fan, it didn't disappoint me at all. i teared up during the intro (first song was TELL ME YOUR WISH (GENIE)). i was like "i can't believe i'm here seeing them live..." and i teared up again like when they were singing this one ballad song, and during COMPLETE too. hahaa! i'm such an emotional fangrrrl! ^^

overall, it was really a good concert since i truly enjoyed it (i didn't want it to end!) but of course, there's definitely a flaw. the sound system was a bit off. it was a bit muffled, the grrls' vocals were soft, music was louder than their vocals/mic; and the bass&treble were like all over the place -____-" it was worse than SHINee World concert in my opinion. Super Show 2 had some glitches too but it wasn't that bad.

and so, that concludes my last k-pop concert for 2011 :o)
